Subject: Visiting scientist opportunity with NOAA Paleoclimatology

NOAA Paleoclimatology can support several visiting scientists this
summer who would like to visit the World Data Center for
Paleoclimatology located in Boulder, Colorado. Visits should take place
between May and October 2008. One week or two week visits are
envisioned however other lengths are possible. Travel costs and a small

stipend will be provided. The ideal visit would produce either an
analysis of existing data distributed by the Center, or the contribution

of a new data set. Questions can be addressed to David Anderson
(303-497-6237, email david.m.anderson at noaa.gov), and application can be
made by sending a one-paragraph description that includes proposed
dates, a description of the proposed topic or activity and its
significance, and why it would benefit from a site visit.
