Dr Rebecca Smith is conducting research into the professional development of
Australian scientists and is inviting members of the Australasian Quaternary
Association to participate in a short, online survey.

Her research aims are:
* to assess the needs and practices of Australian scientists and
postgraduates with regard to their professional development; and
* to determine whether there is interest in a centralised, online resource
on which Australian scientists could rely for information related to their
professional development.

The survey can be accessed at the following weblink:

<https://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=Ij3oxqCQdcsE_2bCAQUFYjPg_3d_3d>

Three lucky participants will win an Apple iPOD shuffle, a $50 music voucher
or a copy of 'A Beginner's Guide to Winning the Nobel Prize', and everyone
who contributes their opinion will be helping to develop the resources they
need to advance in their chosen profession.

Please contact Rebecca Smith (e-mail: sciencesurveys at gmail.com) should you
have any questions or require more information.

Sincerely,
Rebecca Smith
