Research Associate in Catastrophic Marine Inundations

For our upcoming project on catastrophic marine inundations caused by large
storms and tsunami from the northern margin of the South China Sea we would
like to invite applications for:

1 appointment at Research Associate level

Applicants are required to perform the following responsibilities:

Assist the Principal Investigator and collaborators to organize and conduct
fieldwork in southern China and Taiwan 
Conduct basic sedimentological analysis in the laboratory including grain size
analysis, carbonate content and optical mineralogy 
Liaise with other laboratories to obtain analyses of samples for dating 
Conduct microfaunal analysis on coastal sediments
And should possess:

Bachelor degree or Master degree in sedimentology, geology, geomorphology,
environmental science or equivalent 
Experience in conducting fieldwork for research 
At least one year experience in working with microfaunal analysis 
Self-driven and well-motivated team player with interest to work with other
researchers and scientists to produce high-quality research 
Experience in using sedimentology laboratory facilities
