[Aqualist] support for PAGES Young Scientists Meeting

A reminder that AQUA and ARCNESS will support up to 4 students and 
early career researchers (these will be assessed separately) to 
attend the Young Scientists Meeting. Simply submit your abstract to 
be in the running.

SUPPORT FOR EARLY CAREER RESEARCHERS FROM AUSTRALASIA TO ATTEND THE
PAGES YOUNG SCIENTISTS MEETING, OREGON. JULY, 2009.

PAGES (Past Global Changes) is happy to announce that AQUA and
ARCNESS (The ARC Earth System Science Network)  will provide support
for several (probably 4) early career researchers from the
Australasian region to attend the PAGES 1st Young Scientists Meeting
(YSM) to be held in Corvallis, Oregon, 6-7 July 2009.

The YSM, entitled "Retrospective views on our Planets future" is open
on a competitive basis to outstanding early-career researchers
working in the paleosciences.

AQUA committee members will select for support those PhD students
(and possibly also those who have completed their PhD degree within
the last 5 years) whose abstracts have been accepted for PAGES YSM.

The meeting is being held alongside PAGES 3rd Open Science Meeting,
which runs from 8-11 July. Young scientists are also very welcome to
