Postdoctoral Fellowship-
Paleo climate variability
2-year terms + possible 1 year extension
Salary range: A$66,451 (plus superannuation)


ANSTO is one of Australia's foremost scientific research and development
organisations, focused on delivering the benefits of nuclear science to
the Australian community.

 

An experimental scientist with experience at high resolution proxy data
collection for measuring key climate parameters at annual or better
resolution is sought to work on research in South-Western, Eastern or
North-Eastern Australia. Experience in using proxies based on tree
rings, speleothems or corals and an ability to collect and use stable
and cosmogenic isotopes is desirable.  

 

We are seeking a candidate with a strong innovation focus, good
communication skills and a proven publication record, as well as
experience and skills specific to the proposed research project.  PhDs
must have been awarded within the last three years or be under
examination.
