Lecturer Positions
Faculty of Science
The School of Earth & Environmental Sciences has research and 
teaching strengths across human and physical geography, geology, and 
the environmental and archaeological sciences. The School is 
currently seeking Lecturers for 2 fixed term positions across Human 
Geography and Geology. Candidates should be committed to excellence 
in both teaching and research.

Lecturer in Human Geography
Level B (Fixed term, 4 years) Ref No 23437
We are seeking an enthusiastic human geographer with expertise in 
social science methods. Related specialist areas of expertise could 
include social geography, urban geography, cultural planning, 
socio-economic applications of Geographical Information Systems, 
demography, or migration studies.

Lecturer in Geology
Level B (Fixed term, 3 years) Ref No 23444
We are seeking an enthusiastic hard rock geologist. Preference may be 
given to applicants with specialisations in petrology, 
igneous/metamorphic geology or applied geochemistry.
