We invite applications for two exciting new permanent positions in Physical Geography
(one at Associate Professor Level; one at Lecturer/Senior Lecturer Level) to join
our established research and teaching programme within the School of Geography,
Environment and Earth Sciences.
The successful candidates will be expected to make a significant contribution to research
activity in Physical Geography, where our current strengths include Environmental
Modelling, Quaternary Science, Geomorphology and Hazards, and will develop a
research programme in his/her specialist discipline that will attract external funding and
recognition. They will be expected to contribute to the delivery of teaching programmes
and play a role in developing the Geography curriculum at undergraduate and
postgraduate level. Applications from candidates with research interests in any aspect of
Physical Geography will be considered.
