*_AAA 2010 Batemans Bay Registration Closed_*

Due to an overwhelming demand for this year's AAA conference the
Conference Organising Committee has had to close registration. While we
have been working with the conference venue to expand capacity of the
conference, licensing laws as well as occupational health and safety
standards mean there is a maximum limit we cannot exceed. This has been
reached. While we have made every effort to accommodate the people on
our waiting list with a combination of full and single day
registrations, unfortunately we were unable to fulfil all requests.

It is important therefore for people to realise that we are no longer
accepting additions to the waiting list. Registrations, including
single-day registrations, will not be available at the conference.
Admittance to the venue will only be possible with a conference
registration badge valid for that day.

We recognise that this is disappointing for those unable to attend,
however, these steps have been taken to ensure a safe and enjoyable
conference. The growth of this annual event in recent years and the
popularity of this year's conference are reassuring indicators of the
continuing expansion and professionalisation of Australian archaeology.
