Dear AQUAlisters,

This symposium at the upcoming Australian Society for Limnology congress
(Brisbane, late Sept) may be of interest:

"Managing current and future change: the history of aquatic ecosystems as a
guide"

It is being organised by John Tibby (Adelaide) and Dr Jon Marshall (Qld Dept
of Environment and Resource Management).

It would be great to have a number of Quaternarists present at the meeting.
There is also an opportunity to visit the wonderful North Stradbroke Island
(where there much ongoing Quaternary research) as one of the post-conference
trips.

More details are available at:
http://www.asl.org.au/

Note, abstracts close Friday.

Please email me if you need more details.

Cheers,

Dr John Tibby
