* Prior Users will need to login using their existing (4 digit) PIN
* If you have forgotten your PIN and password please contact AINSE staff at ainse at ainse.edu.au<mailto:ainse at ainse.edu.au>
* Please contact AINSE staff at the same email address if you have any other questions. We look forward to receiving your applications.

There are two important steps to finalise an AINSE application for 2013:
* Applications (with supporting documentation attached) must be submitted through the AINSE online application form by the closing date.
* The signature page only (with correct signatures as per the guidelines) must be scanned and emailed to AINSE (ainse at ainse.edu.au<mailto:ainse at ainse.edu.au>) by the closing date.

APPLICATIONS CLOSE midnight on 15 September 2012.

As this email reaches a wide range of AINSE stakeholders, I would also like to take the opportunity to formally introduce myself to you as AINSE's new Managing Director.

Over the past decade, AINSE has achieved a general and steady rise in benefits for a growing membership base. It has also increased the quality and quantity of research outputs. The next stage of AINSE's life will involve further development of funding, research and scientific collaboration in order to achieve more and higher quality research which will benefit all of us. I look forward to playing a role in shaping the future of AINSE during these exciting times not just for AINSE but for the wider Australasian science community. In particular, I look forward to exciting and fruitful collaboration with all of you.

Yours faithfully

Dr Frank Bruhn
