4th Polar Marine Diatom Taxonomy and Ecology Workshop - first notice!

Following the great success of the first three Polar Marine Diatom
Workshops in Yamagata, Nebraska and last year in Sydney, the 4th Polar
Marine Diatom Taxonomy and Ecology Workshop will be held at Cardiff
University, United Kingdom, from 4th – 9th August 2013.  Place these dates
in your calendar, think about your travel plans, tell your friends and
colleagues!!

The taxonomy and ecology workshops are very interactive with speakers
bringing microscope slides for participants to examine and are excellent
for the training and development of postgraduates and established
researchers, alike.

If you are interested in receiving the first circular (probably in December
2012), or in offering a session based on your favourite diatom, please send
an email to me, Jenny Pike (pikej at cardiff.ac.uk) and you will be added to
the mailing list for all future registration and accommodation information
regarding the workshop.
