Dear colleagues,

We would like you to consider submitting an abstract to our session at the 2013 AGU Fall meeting.

*Session code:* EP022
*Session Title:* The Imprint of Past Climate Change on Landscapes

*Session Description:*

Climate variability has deeply modified our environment and shaped the face of the Earth during the entire geological history. This session aims to gather interdisciplinary works investigating the correlation between landscape evolution and climate changes, including sedimentary records such as marine sediment logs, river palaeo-channels, terraces, and soil chronosequences. Changes in erosion and sediment transport are of particular interest, as well as changes in ecosystems and their relationship to landscape evolution. We encourage submissions that seek to quantify how changing climatic conditions in the geological history (Quaternary and beyond) have shaped the Earth's surface and influenced the transport of sediment from source to sink.

*Session conveners:*
