Dear Quaternarists,
I am co-ordinating the "Earth's Environment - Past to Present" theme at The Australian Earth Sciences Convention (http://aesc2016.gsa.org.au/) and would very much welcome suggestions for Quaternary sessions at the meeting. It would be fantastic to get a good representation of The Quaternary at this meeting. There is substantial potential flexibility in terms of session size from five talks to a whole day if warranted.
The meeting promises to be a cracker with great keynote speakers including Paul Hoffman - leading proponent of the Snowball Earth hypothesis - and the Sprigg Symposium on Earth's History which runs in parallel with the meeting and will almost certainly have a strong Quaternary representation.
If you are interested please contact me with the name(s) of proposed session leader(s), title of the proposed session and a few lines about the session itself. At this stage I would welcome an initial expression of interest and would be happy to discuss any proposals with those attending INQUA.
Regards,
John.
Please note that I generally only check email in the afternoon and so any reply may be delayed. Thanks.
