Some of you may be interested in this event being held at ANU next Wednesday (apologies for the short notice but it was only advertised yesterday).

There will be a one day symposium on “Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation and climate”, featuring high profile speakers including Stefan Rahmstorf, Jerry McManus, Eelco Rohling and Andy Hogg. A program is attached for your reference.

If you will be in Canberra next week, please feel free to come along. It looks to be a very interesting day!

Please find attached full details of a 1-day symposium on “Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation (AMOC) and climate,” to mark the visits of the internationally renowned (palaeo)climate specialists Prof. Stefan Rahmstorf from the Potsdam Institute of Climate Impact Research (PIK), and Prof. Jerry McManus from the Lamont Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO), Columbia University.
