[Aqualist] Defining the anthropocene

Dear Quaternarists,
In the latest edition of Quaternary Australasia there is an article about the "advent of the Anthropocene in Australasia" by Bostock et al.,. (http://aqua.org.au/?p=783).

The article lists a number of different options for the start of the Anthropocene (or not) and we would like your opinion.
