[Aqualist] An project in pollens

Hi Everyone


A bit late in the academic year - but I am hoping to find someone who can revisit the pollens at Lancefield Swamp.   There is no funding available for this - but I was hoping that there may be someone who is interested in doing the pollen work.  I can collect and send it to you if you tell me the methodology.  We are digging in late November (if it stops raining)!!


This is part of a collaborative ongoing research project between Deakin, Latrobe and Monash and we already have an archaeologist, seismic geologist, taphonomist, ostracod expert and palaeontologist.  Also - if anyone is interested to be involved the more the merrier.  The aim is to really excavate the site and find out what really caused the bone accumulation - rather than just stabbing at single locations and trying to link them together.
