Hi Folks,
Since announcing the dates a few weeks back a peculiarly Canberran clash has developed - the parliament has scheduled the last sitting week for 2018 against us. This will cause considerable issues with accommodation and other activities if we maintain the planned dates.
Thus, as such we're intending to shift to the second week in December (10-14th). As part of the adjustment to this date we will plan for the Kosci to Coast trip as a pre rather than post-conference field trip.
Apologies for the potential confusion this may cause.
Cheers
Duanne

Subject: AQUA Biennial meeting 2018 - save the date and call for sessions
Hi Folks,
On behalf of the organising committee, here's a save-the-date email to provide notice of the AQUA meeting next year.
We have locked in provisional dates of 3-7 Dec 2018, with the conference to be held in central Canberra.
We are also opening a call for sessions or themes that you've like to see (or run) during the meeting. If you have ideas or are interested in running a session, please reply to this email by the 16th November.
Field trips under discussion/planning include a mid-conference excursion to the revisited records from Lake George and the tectonic history in the region, and a post conference field trip from Kosciusko to the Coast, with others potentially TBA.
Cheers
Duanne,
