[Aqualist] AQUA Dinner at EGU2018 Wednesday 11th 8 PM

Thanks everyone who has let me know they are coming to the dinner. Still plenty of spaces if you would like to come.

Those of you who want to meet me and go from the venue: I was thinking that it might be a good idea to leave a little early to miss the rush at the end of the poster session.

Aim to leave from outside the venue at 18:30.

 I was planning on meeting to the left as you exit the main entrance from yellow level 0. Walk to the end of the tables for the little bar/cafe thing there to get out the way. How does this sound?

For those that can't make this, the best route appears to be:

U1 Alaudagasse to Karlsplatz (takes 9 mins)

Short walk from Karlsplatz to Oper/Karlsplatz U

Take 71 Fickeysstrabe to Unteres Belvedere.
This is on the road (Rennweg) where the restaurant is. It is called Salm Brau.

With the kind help of Stephen Phipps I have booked a reservation for a group of up to 25 for an AQUA dinner.

First in first served, it's hard to get group bookings in Vienna at the last minute, so email me at c.woodward1 at uq.edu.au<mailto:c.woodward1 at uq.edu.au> to confirm you would like to come.

Venue and time:

Anyone who is in Vienna is welcome to join us for a dinner on Wednesday at 8 PM at Salm Brau.

There aren't prices on the website, but plenty of info on Trip Advisor. Just google Salm Brau and menu + price. Prices are average for Vienna.

Getting there:

If you are at the conference venue, I suggest we could all meet up and take public transport to Salm Brau. The poster session finishes at 19:00, and the journey by train is about 25 mins.

Meeting out front would be the best option I think. For those that don't make the meeting or are left behind I'll post instructions for transport later.
