[Aqualist] AQUA AGM tomorrow - attendance via Zoom

Hi AQUA community,


This is a reminder that the AQUA Annual General Meeting will be held tomorrow (Wednesday 23rd May) at 11 am Australian Eastern Standard Time.


The meeting will be held at UNSW (room 552B in the Bioscience Building D26). For those of you who can not make it to the meeting physically but would still like to attend, we have arranged an online meeting room on the Zoom platform. If you would like to attend the AGM via Zoom, then please send an email to me (treasurer at aqua.org.au) and I will send you a link to join the meeting. Also a reminder that to participate in the AGM, you will need to be a current financial member.


We are still seeking nominations for the committee positions. This includes nominations for 'shadow' committee members - this is a really fantastic way to get involved with committee business if you would like to learn the ropes prior to stepping up into a full role in the future. Being a committee member is also a great way to keep in touch with the community, so I would encourage anyone to consider throwing their hat in the ring! If you are interested then please get in contact with myself or any of the other committee members.
