Dear All,
we're seeking an IRMS technician to work with a newly installed Nu
Perspective mass spectrometer. The role is funded by an ARC LIEF grant to
develop a facility for isotope analysis of silicate materials, following
the method of Menicucci et al. (2013;
https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1002/rcm.6642). This method
doesn't entail the use of traditional fluorination techniques.
The position is advertised as a 1 year contract, however our plan is to
continue the role using other sources of finance, subject to progress and
funding.
The technician will work in the Department of Earth Sciences, and be
involved in research related to past environments, metamorphic and ore
geology, archaeology and biogeochemistry.
Please contact me if you've any questions: jonathan.tyler at adelaide.edu.au.
