Hi all

We are happy to send out the first notification of the SHeMax (The last glacial maximum in the Southern Hemisphere) Special Edition in Quaternary Research.

Special edition title: The last glacial maximum in the Southern Hemisphere: Contributions from the SHeMax project

Description: This Special Edition represents the culmination of the work from the INQUA-funded SHeMax project (2016-2019). The SHeMax project seeks to develop our understanding of climatic and environmental variability 20-80oS, for the period 35-15 ka. The project includes analysis of proxy records, model simulations, the role of humans, sea-level change, teleconnections and drivers of environmental and climatic change. We welcome manuscripts that fit the remit of this project, including original records and review papers.

Manuscript submission will be late 2019/early 2020.

If you are interested in submitting a manuscript to our Special Edition, please send your proposed title and authors to lynda.petherick at vuw.ac.nz<mailto:lynda.petherick at vuw.ac.nz> by April 30.
