Hi Alex,

Simon Haberle (also CABAH) and I are planning on doing just that in PNG!

My background is in speleothem paleoclimatology (I've worked in Sulawesi, Indonesia and the US southwest).

I will be going with Simon to PNG early next year to scout out ideal cave sites.

Cheers,
Ali

Subject: [Aqualist] Lake cores and speleothems

Hi all,

I'm hoping for some light crowd-sourcing--if you're aware of a study
comparing climate proxies in lake cores to those in nearby speleothems,
please point me in its direction!

Thanks and happy holidays,
Alex
