I draw your attention to the upcoming international conference on speleothem science: Climate Change: The Karst Record IX (KR9). The conference will be held in Innsbruck in July.

The session list is:

- Millennial to Centennial-Scale Karst Records
- From Decadal to Seasonal Resolution: Speleothem Records on Human Timescales

-Methods and Technical Developments in Speleothem Science

- Cave Records of Human History

Keynote speakers include: Robyn Pickering (University of Cape Town, South Africa); Hagit Affek (Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel); David McGee (MIT, USA); Ashish Sinha (California State University Dominguez Hills, USA) and Heather Stoll (ETH Zurich, Switzerland).

Abstract deadline is fast approaching: FEBRUARY 15th.

This is a polite reminder that the submission deadline for  Climate Change, The Karst Record IX (KR9), to be held in Innsbruck, Austria, between 12th-15th July, 2020 is fast approaching on 15th February, 2020.

To submit an abstract and/or register for the conference, please visit https://www.uibk.ac.at/congress/kr9/registration/

Please note that early-bird registration closes on February 29th. If you register for 'early-bird', please ensure that you complete the payment before the deadline, otherwise you will be subject to the higher regular registration fee.

For those who have applied for travel grants, we are working hard to ensure that you have a decision as soon as possible, so that you can meet the early-bird deadline.

Please also note that July is high-season in Innsbruck. We therefore recommend booking accommodation early.
