Dear AQUA Community members,
The biennial AQUA meeting is getting closer and we are very pleased to announce that we are now accepting abstract submissions.
These conferences have a history of being inclusive and convivial events, and are the ideal venue for students and ECRs to present their work and make connections with the Quaternary community.
This year, for the first time in the history of AQUA, the meeting is travelling to the tropics. The venue is Atherton, in far north Queensland, and the meeting will be held from the 20th to the 24th of July.
The Atherton Tablelands and surrounding areas have been the site of some iconic studies by members of the AQUA community, and the region is rich in cultural history.
Registration will be opening soon, and information about travel prizes for students and ECRs will also be announced in the near future on the conference website. You can also find information about key dates, and travel and accommodation options on the AQUA website (https://aqua.org.au/conference/aqua2020/).
In the meantime, we encourage you to submit your abstract via the following link (https://aqua.org.au/conference/aqua2020/abstract-submission/) and look forward to seeing you all in Atherton in July.
Cheers,
AQUA2020 Organising Committee.
