Subject: Data Science Survey

Dear Committee Members,

Danny Kingsley, the lead writer for the Big Data report, and member of the National Committee for Data in Science (NCDiS) has just flagged this data science survey<https://www.surveygizmo.com/s3/5599648/survey-to-capture-benefits-of-data-scientists> with the Academy.

This survey is being run by the Academic Data Science Alliance<https://academicdatascience.org/>, USA, and they're looking for participants who collaborate or consult with data scientists. They hope the results will assist in their push for better data science policies.

Could I ask you to pass this survey along to your networks and encourage those who fit the requirements to fill out the survey?

Kind regards,
Jirana
