Dear all,

Following on from my announcement regarding the upcoming online training and workshop - NEOTOMA(TILIA)/OCTOPUS and Pollen Data Analysis (13-17 July 2020) - we are devoting 2 sessions to explore the future of palaeoecological data management in Australia with the guidance from CABAH database experts Dr Henry Munack and Dr Tibi Codilean (building an Australian palaeoecological database that integrates with NEOTOMA - OCTOPUS). As pat of this workshop we have developed a short (20-30min) survey in order to better understand the needs and ideas of the Australiasian palaeo-community. I would invite you to participate in a short SURVEY*, where we try to (i) identify potential future user groups and (ii) fit OCTOPUS pollen front-end functionality to their needs. The survey is anonymous and should take approximately 20-30 minutes to complete. Survey results will be made available during the workshop. Your contribution is highly appreciated.
