Subject: Fellowships for PhDs and Postdocs on People and Ecology in Medieval Mongolia and China

Dear Colleagues,
Please find enclosed two calls for applicants for PhDs and postdocs fellowships for the newly funded ERC Advanced Grant project: The Wall: People and Ecology in Medieval Mongolia and China at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. The project is will be directed by Prof. Gideon Shelach-Lavi and plan to start October 2020 or as soon as possible thereafter.

Among other topics in field archaeology, history and paleo-climate, we are very much interested in candidates to carry out a multi-proxy micro-geoarchaeoloigcal research (including at least one of the following methods: micromorphology, FTIR, phytoliths, OSL and isotope analysis). For more details please visit:

I would be very grateful of you can please forward this CfA to anyone you think might find this interesting and feel free to contact me (df360 at cam.ac.uk<mailto:df360 at cam.ac.uk>) or Prof. Gideon Shelach-Lavi (gideon.shelach at mail.huji.ac.il<mailto:gideon.shelach at mail.huji.ac.il>) for more details.

Many thanks and apologise for any cross-referencing
Best wishes,
David
