Dear AQUA members,

I am looking for a casual geoarchaeologist to undertake ongoing fieldwork
and reporting on numerous ongoing projects in Western Sydney.

I would prefer an experienced geoarchaeologist, but I'd also be happy with a
recent geoarchaeology graduate who knows their stuff!

Essential Criteria:

*	White Card (NSW OH&S General Induction) or equivalent;
*	Driving License;
*	Knowledge of augering and percussion coring techniques;
*	Logging of soils and sediments;
*	Sampling of soils and sediments for a variety of environmental (e.g.
soil chemistry, pollen, particle size etc) and radiometric (e.g. OSL, C14
etc) signatures;
*	Ability to interpret soil geomorphology, stratigraphy and
environmental and radiometric data.

Desirable Criteria:

*	Specialist knowledge of environmental proxy techniques (e.g. soil
chemistry , particle size etc);
*	Experience in using 3D Deposit modelling software;
*	Experience in geoarchaeological project management (undertaking
research designs and methods, WH&S [e.g. preparing SWMS], supervising
fieldwork, reporting)
*	Senior First Aid.

Please contact me directly with a brief summary and a CV via email.

Many thanks,
