Dear AQUA folk, some seminars that may be of interest.
The International Science Council (ISC) cordially invites you to join us for a twofold (to cater for different timezones) online event that will kick off 2021 as a year of recovery and transformations within reach. This event also provides an opportunitiy for all ISC Members to gain experience in navigating the Hopin event platform in preparation for the ISC extraordinary General Assembly in February, which will be held on the same platform.

Part Two
When: 26 January, 09:00 am CET (08:00 am UTC)
What: Bouncing Forward Sustainably: Pathways to a post-COVID World - An introduction to the thematic reports from the IIASA-ISC partnership
On 26 January, we invite you to join us for a welcome by Albert van Jaarsveld (Director General and Chief Executive Officer, IIASA), followed by an introduction to the IIASA-ISC Consultative Science Platform "Bouncing Forward Sustainably: Pathways to a Post-COVID World<http://link.council.science/click/1_0OvW4ba5MIC9.jSlfjU3teayJx/qBF72E5Q/1s/covid19.iiasa.ac.at/isc/>" by Dr. Leena Srivastava (Deputy Director General for Science, IIASA) and Luis Gomez Echeverri (Emeritus Research Scholar, IIASA). Following the mainstage presentations, you can choose between four parallel discussions around the thematic reports of Governance for Sustainability, Strengthening Science Systems, Resilient Food Systems and Sustainable Energy, which were produced under this project. Learn more about the individual thematic tracks by joining one or more of these parallel sessions which will highlight what experts had to say on the different topics.
Ongoing throughout the two days
What makes our events different to a normal webinar experience is the possibility to engage in networking with your peers. After the conclusion of the discussions on 25 and 26 January, we invite you to stay online for networking opportunities and to explore the virtual exhibition space, just like in an in-person conference.
New to a Hopin event?
If you are new to the Hopin event platform, please join us 15 minutes prior to the programme on 25 or 26 January for a live demonstration on how to navigate this platform. The virtual platform will open on 25 January (00:00 h UTC) and will remain open until Tuesday, 26 February (24:00 h UTC). Please feel free to come online at any time during these 48 hours to explore the displayed content (for example the virtual exhibition space and recordings from previous sessions) and network with other attendees.
Who: The event is open to anyone. Please feel free to share this invitation with your colleagues, members and wider network.
