Dear Colleagues

A series of online presentations and workshops running next week may be of interest to many of you.

The PAGES Working Group ‘Human Traces<http://pastglobalchanges.org/science/wg/human-traces/intro>’ is hosting a series of workshops over three consecutive days representing different regions of the Earth – the Americas on May 25th, Europe/Africa/West Asia on May 26th and Central Asia/East Asia/Australasia on May 27th. This series of presentations and workshop sessions is intended to build momentum toward a global synthesis of pre-Anthropocene human impacts as revealed by proxy data in the geological record. At this stage, the focus is particularly on the use of sediment records.

You can find out more about the workshop and how to register on the Human Traces Twitter (https://twitter.com/HTraces) or Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/HTraces) pages.

Kind regards
Dan
