Dear Aqua-list,
This is a gentle reminder that membership dues for AQUA were due mid-2021 (https://aqua.org.au/membership/become-an-aqua-member/). If you haven't had the chance to renew your membership for 2021, now is the time, as the December issue of Quaternary Australasia is about to be released and you will only receive a copy if you are a 2021 financial member!
The Volume 38, December 2021 issue of Quaternary Australasia has a range of wonderful content ranging from Kimberly field reports, AQUA virtual conference reports, an introduction to the updated Australian Pollen and Spore Atlas (ASPA) and some good old scientific debate regarding changes in river flows from the Murray-Darling basin over the past 7000 years. An important feature of this issue of QA is placing the spotlight on pioneering female Quaternarists from Australia and New Zealand. The bio's of some of these leading Quaternarists are truly inspiring and their work has paved the way for the current generation of Australasian Quaternary Scientists. In addition to highlighting the efforts of these pioneers we break down the current demographics of the AQUA community and aim to continue to conversations that were started during the online conference to improve the inclusivity and diversity of the AQUA community.
SO, if you want to read about all the great things happening in the world of Australasian Quaternary Science, sign up to AQUA today to receive the newest edition of QA next week!
