Dear National Committee Members,

I hope this email finds you well.

With several major award program nominations closing in May and June, including the Academy Honorific Awards, the Academy’s STEM Women team are mobilising to support and promote more significant numbers of nominations from women in STEM.

This will take the form of an Awards Nominate-a-thon in the second half of April, where members of the STEM Women network plus others, drawn from the National Committees and EMCR Forum, will be connected with each other as 'critical friends' for a focused 90-minute session to review and workshop draft nominations or ideas.

There will be two sessions in April in the countdown to the following nomination deadlines:
Australian Academy of Science Honorific Awards<https://www.science.org.au/supporting-science/awards-and-opportunities> - due 1 May and 1 June
          Eureka Prizes<https://australian.museum/get-involved/eureka-prizes/> - due 6 May
· APEC ASPIRE Prize<•%09https:/www.science.org.au/supporting-science/awards-and-opportunities/apec-science-prize-innovation-research-and-education-aspire-prize> - due 9 May
Engineers Australia prizes<https://aeea.engineersaustralia.org.au/> - due 8 May and 3 July
          Resilient Australia awards<https://www.aidr.org.au/programs/resilient-australia-awards/> - due 6 June
Royal Australian Chemical Institute awards<https://www.raci.org.au/RACI/Awards/Web/Awards/Awards.aspx?hkey=bc16774a-6684-451e-a69b-4936ff60d65e> - open from 1 April

We invite you to join in the Nominate-a-thon to provide expertise, guidance and advice to prospective nominators and nominees.

Register now to join one or both sessions to be held via Zoom:
