Dear Quaternarists,

This email is to announce that the next AQUA meeting will be held from Tuesday 6th to Thursday 8th December, 2022 at The University of Adelaide. Not much other than the has been planned. However, we hope to offer at least one field trip with possible locations including Lower Murray River Lakes and Coorong, Kangaroo Island, Winery tour, Naracoorte Caves and Flinders Ranges. If you would like to volunteer to run, or contribute to, organisation of a field trip please contact me. Field trips will be offered outside the three days of the conference itself.

This meeting was originally planned to be on the Atherton Tableland but unfortunately COVID got in the way. I'd like to thank the organisers, particularly Cameron Barr, who put in an enormous amount of work into planning this meeting (which never eventuated). There was some discussion about trying to re-schedule this meeting on the Tableland but given the "everchanging COVID situation", it was agreed that we would aim for a line of least resistance meeting held in a city with numerous transport and accommodation options.

Please get in contact if you have any queries or suggestions. For those who are members of the AQUA Facebook group, contributions are welcome there.

Hoping to see you all in Adelaide or online for the meeting.

With best wishes,
John Tibby.

AQUA Vice President
on behalf of the conference organising committee
