The Royal Society of Victoria is to award its *2023* *Medal for Excellence
in Scientific Research **in Category III: Earth Sciences* on April 18.
Patrick De Deckker is recipient of this award.



Patrick will receive the medal in the rooms of the Royal Society of
Victoria at 6 pm on April 18 at 8 La Trobe St, Melbourne VIC 3000, and this
will be followed by a talk to be given by Patrick. It is entitled: *“Holocene
climatic fluctuations in the Australian region*”.
