The *application deadline is January 6th* 2025.

This is a *3-year contract* (Level A salary: $105k-$113k pa + 17%
superannuation). The position is *majority research* (at
postdoctoral level) and also *includes teaching* (approximately a 60%/40%
split) classes which I have already developed materials for. Tentatively,
the classes are late undergraduate geomorphology fieldwork (2 weeks),
postgraduate data analysis (2 weeks), late undergraduate fluvial
geomorphology (4 weeks), and early undergraduate geomorphology (1 week).
Candidates would ideally be comfortable teaching these topics.

The position allows you to *gain co-supervision and teaching experience*
alongside research that isn't necessarily tied to a specific research grant
(although you can contribute to grant-funded research on dune fields if you
like). Any *geomorphology research topics* are welcome, please discuss them
in your application if you apply, but at the moment the group is working
mostly on dune fields (including Mars and Titan), dry lakes, and
arid vegetation-landscape feedbacks. At the School we have expertise in
aeolian, coastal, planetary, and glacial geomorphology, as well as
strengths in related disciplines such as climate and Quaternary science.
