[Aqualist] ECR Global South data project

Hi everyone,

I hope this will be of interest to some of you.

I'm involved in an ECR-led project focused on the Global South, and
partially led by researchers in the Global South. It's an INQUA-funded
project that involves palaeoclimatology, palaeoecology and archaeology and
aims to create a database involving as many researchers as possible based
or working in the Global South.

It's still early days for this project so we don't have a specific research
question yet, but there are big plans, including a workshop later this
year. Attached is an article we wrote for the PAGES newsletter to give you
more details. A website is under development, but in the meantime, if any
of you working on sites in the Global South would like to get involved,
please let me know (annika.herbert at anu.edu.au). And please share this as
widely as possible!
