Greetings everybody,

I'd like to let you know about a conversation that we hosted and filmed
with Professor John H. Elliott (1930-2022), University of Oxford, a number
of years ago.  An undergraduate encounter in the Prado Museum with a
17th-century painting of Count-Duke Olivares by Velázquez, led John Elliott
on a lifelong odyssey to study the history of Spain, Europe and the
Americas in the early modern period to become one of the greatest Spanish
historians of our age.
