Comment: Its central ideas are that Orientalists see India as `other'.
Positivists see caste as the key to `understanding India' and
idealists see Hinduism as the key. Both ignore individual human
agency.

Quinn’s office on the fourth level of the Asian Studies Building
from Monday afternoon. Papers will ONLY be provided for people
attending the reading session.
