>This is an exciting opportunity to participate in an 
>interdisciplinary law and anthropology project on customary land 
>tenure in East Timor.  The project is funded by a 3-year Australian 
>Research Council Discovery grant.  Based on ethnographic data from a 
>range of locations in East Timor, the project aims to develop policy 
>options for the legal recognition of traditional rights to land in 
>the world's newest country.  We are seeking a highly motivated 
>graduate in anthropology or related discipline to undertake 
>fieldwork in East Timor.

>Indonesia or East Timor, with very strong language skills in Tetum
