Dear ET Studies List

The Forum Proceedings: Exploring the Tensions of Nation Building in
Timor-Leste, held on 15 September 2006 at Melbourne University is now
formally published, and available to be downloaded from the web at:

http://www.sages.unimelb.edu.au/research/researchpapers/SSEErespapers.html.

The whole thing will also be downloadable from the web, and hard copies are
available for $10 each from the
School of Social & Environmental Enquiry, 221 Bouverie Street, UNIVERSITY OF
MELBOURNE VIC 3010 or email mmam at unimelb.edu.au

Held in the wake of the 2006 security crisis this forum was designed to
investigate the complexity of issues that underpinned it. It was an attempt
to move beyond the relatively shallow analysis which pervaded the Australian
media and community at the time. Contents are listed below. Please note a
useful Chronology up to 2006 (with thanks to Frédéric Durand).
Best wishes
