Please find attached an invitation to the 2008 Human Rights Arts and
Film Festival featuring the most recent collaboration by Culture Kitchen
(Canberra), Taring Padi (Indonesia) and Gembel (Timor Leste) completed
in Dili in October.
Taring Padi and Culture Kitchen worked with Gembel* *to produce a series
of relief lino print works exploring common issues of the three
neighbouring nations and Gembel’s unique take on contemporary Timor. The
series is titled, ‘Let’s Work Together’ (Tetum. /Mai Ita Servisu Hamutuk/).
