Position Title:    Community Outreach & Peacebuilding Project Manager

Location:           Timor Leste

Reporting to:      Assistant Country Director Programs Timor Leste 

Terms:                1 November 2008 - 11 July 2009

Closing Date:      24 September 2008

This senior project manager position is responsible for the implementation
of a USAID-funded conflict mitigation program in the Bairo Pite
neighbourhood of Dili

 

This exciting role in Timor Leste requires experience in:

Project Management 
Grant and Donor Management 
Strategic Direction Setting 
Program Development 
Management of Staff

Position Title:    Security and Safety Manager

Location:           Timor Leste

Reporting to:      Country Director Timor Leste 

Terms:                1 November 2008 - 30 June 2009

Closing Date:      24 September 2008

The successful applicant will:

Ensure the security and well-being of CARE personnel in Timor-Leste and that
all reasonable steps are taken to safeguard CARE's staff, assets and
operations. 
Supervise the Safety and Security Officer, Radio Operator and Security
Guards. 
Manage the communications network, including Satellite, VHF and HF
communication systems. 
Respond to safety and security incidents as and when required.
