New blog on Timor Archives

I expect this to be relevant to anyone with study or preservation interests
in the East Timor historical record 1974-99.

The site will provide an up-to-date record of my Timor archives work
(Clearing House for Archival Records on Timor) but also promote discussion
of some related archival issues.

It's still very early days but over the next few months I will add to the
site the bulk of my notes and thoughts accumulated over ten years of
sporadic forays into finding and keeping the Australian-based Timor archival
record.

For a first sample, guides to the Timor collections of David Scott, former
Labor senator Gordon McIntosh and the late Dr Andrew McNaughtan have been
added to the 'Collections' section of the blog.

For frequent users of National Archives of Australia material, a blogpost on
a neat tool to enhance your online access to NAA's digitized records.

More to come.

Any comments, suggestions, collection information etc most welcome.
