Dear East Timor Studies Members:

/ellipsis/ seeks manuscripts for a special edition to commemorate the
tenth anniversary of Timor-Leste's independence. The editor welcomes
articles addressing all aspects of research in the humanities or social
sciences pertaining to contemporary Timor-Leste or its history.

/ellipsis/ is the peer-reviewed academic journal of the American
Portuguese Studies Association. It is published once a year. In keeping
with the founding principles of APSA <http://www.portuguese-apsa.com>,
/ellipsis/ strives to foster the expansion and diffusion of knowledge
about the languages, peoples and cultures of Portuguese-speaking
countries and diasporas. It accepts scholarly articles, preferably
written in English, on any aspect of study about the Portuguese-speaking
world.

Manuscripts should be submitted electronically by February 15, 2012 to
ellipsis at ellipsis-apsa.com <mailto:ellipsis at ellipsis-apsa.com> and
should include an abstract (between 50 and 150 words, written in the
language of the manuscript) and keywords. It is a condition of
publishing in /ellipsis/ that your article has not been published in any
prior format.

Articles submitted to /ellipsis/ should be between 4000 and 8000 words
in length. They must follow the MLA conventions (click here
<http://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/747/01/> for the MLA 2009
Formatting and Style Guide). Please visit the /ellipsis/
<http://www.ellipsis-apsa.com/Home.html> website, or contact
ncooney at princeton.edu <mailto:ncooney at princeton.edu> for further
