[TimorLesteStudies] Oz National Archives: Questions on access restrictions

For those whose research relies on access to items at National Archives of
Australia (NAA):

It can take two years or more for a request for access to a Timor-related
file at NAA to be completed - and most often some documents in any given
folder will be excluded or partially redacted. So you'd hope the
restrictions were fully justifiable under Archives Act rules.

Evidence in a new article on the CHART / Timor Archives website suggests
the NAA restrictions on access decisions may not be as robust as they
should be. See:
