[TimorLesteStudies] New enlarged edition of Tetun-English interactive dictionary (Could you please put out this email rather than the preceding, as I forgot to give our website.)

Dili Institute of Technology is pleased to announce a new edition of its
interactive Tetun-English dictionary. This is about twice the size of the
previous edition, with over 11,600 Tetun headwords plus 1,200 sub-entries,
and 12,700 English entries. There are over 5,400 cross-references to related
words, such as words with similar or opposite meaning, and 3,200 example
sentences. Words can be searched for by Tetun, by English, or by categories
such as health or education. The dictionary is available for free download
on http://www.tetundit.tl/Publications.html.

This edition runs on Windows machines. There has been a holdup in creating
versions to run on Android and Apple, but we are hoping these will come
soon. Meanwhile, for Android, you can download the previous edition from
Google Playstore (search for 'DIT Tetun'), and the new edition will
hopefully download automatically.
