There are now several online collections of Timor-Leste archival records
for the years 1974-1999. The most recent of these resources is the work of
David Webster, well-known Canadian Timor activist and academic historian.
The Timor International Solidarity Archive (TiSA) is notable for being the
first such online resource to be based on archives-specific computer
software.

While still developing, TiSA promises to be a ‘go-to’ platform for placing,
finding and accessing worldwide archives on Timor. And it could be an
example for Timor-Leste archival institutions to follow in their search for
archival management and access systems.
