<p class="ydpf7c372c3MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;text-justify:inter-ideograph"><span lang="EN-GB">The Diálogos Journal (ISSN 2520-5927; e-ISSN <span style="color:black">2789-2182)</span> is an annual publication of the Faculty
of Philosophy and Human Sciences of the Universidade Nacional Timor Lorosa’e
(UNTL), and is aimed at being a platform for the production and sharing of
knowledge, stimulating approaches that contemplate the diversity of worldviews,
reflection, experience exchange and the in-depth discussion of issues relevant
to society.</span></p>
<p class="ydpf7c372c3MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:6.0pt;text-align:justify;text-justify:inter-ideograph"><span lang="EN-GB">For volume 8 (2023) Revista Diálogos presents the
theme: </span></p>
<p class="ydpf7c372c3MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;text-justify:inter-ideograph"><b><span lang="EN-GB">ART, AESTHETICS AND CREATIVE PROCESSES </span></b><span lang="EN-GB"></span></p>
<p class="ydpf7c372c3MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:6.0pt;text-align:justify;text-justify:inter-ideograph"><span lang="EN-GB">Aesthetics (as the study of the conception of beauty),
art (as an activity of human creation) go through a creative process that
involves subjective and objective elements related, for example, to the
author's biography, technical and technological knowledge, notions of ethics
and morality, power relations and the sociocultural context. Articles, essays,
interviews and case studies are expected that address aesthetics, art and
creative processes in an interconnected way or in their respective fields. The
articles can bring reflections on different artistic manifestations (painting,
literature, sculpture, theater, music, dance, photography, audiovisual
productions, crafts...), biographies, theoretical and conceptual analyses, as
well as experiences of how aesthetics, art and creative processes can be
manifested in architecture, design, fashion, social behavior, among others.</span></p>

<p class="ydpf7c372c3MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;margin-bottom:6.0pt;text-align:justify;text-justify:inter-ideograph"><span lang="EN-GB">1) Revista Diálogos follows APA's
(7th edition) norms and recommendations for publication;</span></p>
<p class="ydpf7c372c3MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;margin-bottom:6.0pt;text-align:justify;text-justify:inter-ideograph"><span lang="EN-GB">2) We received articles written in
Tetun, Portuguese and English;</span></p>
<p class="ydpf7c372c3MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;margin-bottom:6.0pt;text-align:justify;text-justify:inter-ideograph"><span lang="EN-GB">3) Articles must be written in Times
New Roman, 12, justified, A4 format (210x297), line spacing 1.5, paragraph
indentation 1.0;</span></p>
<p class="ydpf7c372c3MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;margin-bottom:6.0pt;text-align:justify;text-justify:inter-ideograph"><span lang="EN-GB">4) Articles may have a minimum of
4,000 words and a maximum of 8,000 words, including title, abstract, keywords,
references and notes;</span></p>
<p class="ydpf7c372c3MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;margin-bottom:6.0pt;text-align:justify;text-justify:inter-ideograph"><span lang="EN-GB">5) Abstract must be between 100 and
250 words, single spaced. Articles written in Portuguese or Tetun must have an
abstract in the original language of the text and another abstract in English.
Articles written in English must have an abstract in the original language of
the text and another in Portuguese;</span></p>
<p class="ydpf7c372c3MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;margin-bottom:6.0pt;text-align:justify;text-justify:inter-ideograph"><span lang="EN-GB">6) Keywords: articles written in
Portuguese or Tetun must have between 3 and 5 keywords in the original language
of the text and in English. Articles written in English must have between 3 and
5 keywords in the original language of the text and in Portuguese;</span></p>
<p class="ydpf7c372c3MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;margin-bottom:6.0pt;text-align:justify;text-justify:inter-ideograph"><span lang="EN-GB">7) Images, graphics and tables must
be sent in high resolution and with a description of the source;</span></p>
<p class="ydpf7c372c3MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;margin-bottom:6.0pt;text-align:justify;text-justify:inter-ideograph"><span lang="EN-GB">8) Italics: for foreign words,
titles (books, events, etc.) and emphasis;</span></p>
<div class="ydpf7c372c3MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;margin-bottom:6.0pt;text-align:justify;text-justify:inter-ideograph"><span lang="EN-GB">9) Bold and underlined bullets
should be avoided;</span><span lang="EN-GB"><br></span></div><div class="ydpf7c372c3MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;margin-bottom:6.0pt;text-align:justify;text-justify:inter-ideograph"><span lang="EN-GB">10) Footnotes: only if they are
relevant to the understanding of the text.</span>
</div><p class="ydpf7c372c3MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;margin-bottom:6.0pt;text-align:justify;text-justify:inter-ideograph"><span lang="EN-GB">11) To ensure the integrity of the
blind peer review, articles must be sent without the author's name and without
biographical or explanatory notes that may allow the identification of the
author(s).</span></p>
<p class="ydpf7c372c3MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto;text-align:justify;text-justify:inter-ideograph"><span lang="EN-GB">Criteria evaluated in articles
submitted for publication:</span></p>
<p class="ydpf7c372c3MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;margin-bottom:6.0pt;text-align:justify;text-justify:inter-ideograph"><span lang="EN-GB">1) Structure: the structure needs to
present an internal logic in relation to the topics covered;</span></p>
<p class="ydpf7c372c3MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;margin-bottom:6.0pt;text-align:justify;text-justify:inter-ideograph"><span lang="EN-GB">2) Writing: the text must present
clarity, orthographic and grammatical quality, argumentation consistent with
the subject addressed;</span></p>
<p class="ydpf7c372c3MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;margin-bottom:6.0pt;text-align:justify;text-justify:inter-ideograph"><span lang="EN-GB">3) Technical and theoretical
aspects: the article must present the correct use of the concepts discussed, as
well as demonstrate mastery over them;</span></p>
<p class="ydpf7c372c3MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;margin-bottom:6.0pt;text-align:justify;text-justify:inter-ideograph"><span lang="EN-GB">4) Originality: will be considered
the originality, the level of innovation presented, as well as the relevance to
the area of study of the work.</span></p>
