<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Back in 2020 I was awarded an Australian Army History Unit (AAHU) grant to help fund preparation of “World War II in East Timor – an Australian Army site and travel guide”. I applied for the grant with the assistance
of the late Jim Truscott who sadly passed away in April 2021.</span><o:p></o:p></p>

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">I found your research and writing on Timorese history to be an invaluable source of information for my project.</span><o:p></o:p></p>

in Timor, I’ll also use the opportunity to promote interest in the Guide to potentially interested parties there including Government Ministers and agencies, museums, academics, NGOs, members of the Australian and other nations diplomatic and defence communities
