AAHPSSS conference 2008

The AAHPSSS conference will be held in Melbourne in early July in
association with both the AAP and AHA. It will be within the period 6th
- 11th July. AAHPSSS people will be able to submit papers to either
strand of the AAHPSSS conference.  The details are currently being
worked out.   A further notice will be sent via Galileo and the AAHPSSS
website  will carry information when firm dates are known.

Historians of science should note that the AHA seeks thematic sessions
and that the deadline for proposals is 31 Dec 2007.  The theme of the
AHA is Locating History which fits well with the current interest in
geographies of science. For details see:

The AAP has a more distant deadline.
